This is to inform all students that the 12th International Youth Day will be observed on 12 August 2026 in West Bengal. On this occasion, the District Health Department of Hooghly District, in collaboration with the IQAC, Serampore College, is organising a Sensitization Programme for the students of the College.

The programme aims to create awareness among the youth regarding Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs), HIV/AIDS, the HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, 2017, and Hepatitis B & C, with particular emphasis on self- protection, prevention and healthy practices.

As part of the programme, the following health screening and testing services will be provided free of cost for the greater interest and well-being of our students:

HIV Testing
Syphilis Testing
Blood Sugar Testing
HCV Testing (Hepatitis C Screening)
HBsAg Testing (Hepatitis B Screening)
TB Screening

Date: 12 August 2026 (Wednesday)

Time: 10:30 AM onwards

Venue: Hall M1 Ground Floor, Serampore College

All students are cordially invited and encouraged to participate in the programme and take advantage of the awareness session and free health screening facilities.

পুরো দেশ জুড়ে ছাত্র আন্দোলন হচ্ছে কিন্তু দেশের সবথেকে বড় রাষ্ট্রবাদী এবং অরাজনৈতিক দাবি করা একটি ছাত্র সংগঠনের কোন পাত্তাই নেই 🙂‍↔️।

কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় মাত্র ৯ মাসের মধ্যে ৩টি সেমেস্টার নেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে, যা ছাত্রছাত্রীদের উপর অমানবিক চাপ সৃষ্টি করছে। এর ফলে পড়াশোনার মান, মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য এবং ভবিষ্যৎ প্রস্তুতি মারাত্মকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে।

এর পাশাপাশি B.Com পরীক্ষার তারিখ CMA পরীক্ষার সঙ্গে সংঘর্ষ করছে, যার ফলে বহু ছাত্রছাত্রী সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হচ্ছে।

এই অন্যায় সিদ্ধান্তের বিরুদ্ধে আমরা একটি পিটিশনে স্বাক্ষর সংগ্রহ করছি। সকল ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কাছে আবেদন, আপনারা এগিয়ে এসে এই পিটিশনে স্বাক্ষর করুন এবং ছাত্রস্বার্থ রক্ষার এই আন্দোলনে আমাদের পাশে থাকুন।

এক বিশেষ ছাত্র সংগঠন (নতুন ভাবে জন্ম নেওয়া ,নাম নিচ্ছি না) শ্রীরামপুর কলেজের ছবি কে বিকৃত করেছে .... এদের শ্রীরামপুর কলেজ সম্পর্কে কোনো তথ্য বা ধারণা নেই,
শ্রীরামপুর কলেজ একটা ঐতিহ্য , শ্রীরামপুর তথা গোটা পশ্চিমবাংলার গর্ব এই কলেজ, যারা নিজেদের রাষ্ট্রবাদী বলে দাবি করে তারা নিজেরাই এই ভাবে বিকৃতি (AI দিয়ে তৈরি করছে) করা ছবি পোস্ট করছে, এটা কোন রাষ্ট্রিবাদের প্রমাণ??
এখন হঠাৎ করে যারা এই সংগঠনের সাথে যুক্ত হয়েছে তাদের বিগত বছর গুলি তে দেখা যায় নি সাধারণ ছাত্র-ছাত্রী দের পাশে থাকতে বা কলেজের কোনো অনুষ্ঠানে অংশ গ্রহণ করতে, তাহলে এটাই স্বাভাবিক যে তারা কলেজের সম্বন্ধে কিছুই জানবেনা|
বাঁ দিকের প্রথম ছবিতে দেখা যাচ্ছে শ্রীরামপুর কলেজের মেইন বিল্ডিং এর মাথায় একটি ক্লক টাওয়ার যেটি আজ অব্দি আছে বলে আমাদের জানা নেই
এবং ডানদিকে দ্বিতীয় ছবিতে দেখা যাচ্ছে মেন বিল্ডিং এরই ওপরে একটি ছোট্ট জানালা এবং সিডির পাশে শ্রীরামপুর কলেজ লেখা একটি বোর্ড। এগুলি কোথায় আছে আজ অব্দি আমরা দেখিনি।
এই ভাবে কলেজের ছবি কে বিকৃতি করার জন্য ধিক্কার জানাই,, শ্রীরামপুর কলেজের বর্তমান এবং প্রাক্তন ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই বিকৃত ছবির বিরুদ্ধে জবাব দেবে।

লক্ষ লক্ষ ছাত্রছাত্রীর ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়ে কোনো রকম দুর্নীতি বা ছেলেখেলা মেনে নেওয়া যায় না।
NEET পরীক্ষার প্রশ্নফাঁসের অভিযোগ আজ দেশের পরিশ্রমী ছাত্রছাত্রী ও তাঁদের পরিবারের বিশ্বাসকে নাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে। বছরের পর বছর কঠোর পরিশ্রম, ত্যাগ আর স্বপ্ন নিয়ে পড়াশোনা করা শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে এই অন্যায় কোনোভাবেই গ্রহণযোগ্য নয়।

আমরা Trinamool Chhatra Parishad-এর পক্ষ থেকে এই ঘটনার তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানাই। শিক্ষাব্যবস্থাকে দুর্নীতিমুক্ত ও স্বচ্ছ রাখা সরকারের দায়িত্ব। ছাত্রসমাজ ন্যায্য বিচার, স্বচ্ছ তদন্ত এবং দোষীদের কঠোর শাস্তি দাবি করছে।

শিক্ষা নিয়ে রাজনীতি নয়, শিক্ষার্থীদের ভবিষ্যৎ সুরক্ষিত হোক।

The future of lakhs of students cannot be destroyed by corruption and negligence.
The allegations surrounding the NEET paper leak have deeply shaken the trust of hardworking aspirants and their families across the country. Students spend years sacrificing comfort, sleep, and peace to achieve their dreams — and any unfair practice is a direct attack on merit and justice.

We, as members of TMCP, strongly condemn every attempt to manipulate the education system. The youth of this nation deserve transparency, accountability, and equal opportunity — not uncertainty and betrayal.

Education should empower students, not make them victims of corruption. We demand a fair and transparent investigation and strict action against everyone responsible.
