The Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI) inaugurated the new batch of the MATI–AISPETC UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) Coaching Programme 2026–27 today, 3rd August 2026, at MATI.

The inaugural session was led by Shri Swapnil Tembe, IAS, Director, MATI, who welcomed the new batch of UPSC aspirants and encouraged them to approach their preparation with discipline, perseverance, and a strong sense of purpose.

The Home (Political) Department, Government of Meghalaya, in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Shillong and the Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI), organised a One-Day Training Programme on the "Implementation of the Meghalaya Residents Safety and Security Act, 2016" on 29th June 2026 at MATI, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong.

The training brought together Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs), Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), and Sub-Inspectors (SIs) from all 12 districts of Meghalaya. The programme focused on strengthening participants' understanding of the provisions of the Act, enhancing inter-departmental coordination, and familiarising officials with the online registration portal to facilitate its effective implementation across the State.

All certificates issued by MATI for various training programmes are now available on DigiLocker.
To access and download your certificate, please ensure that the mobile number registered on the MATI portal is the same as the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar and DigiLocker account.
You will be required to enter your registered mobile number and Program ID while fetching your certificate. The Program ID can be found in your TMIS account after logging in.

Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI) today hosted “REFLECTIONS,” its 1st Annual Conference at Vivanta Shillong on the 12th June, 2026. The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri D.P. Wahlang IAS (Retired), Hon’ble Chairman of the Meghalaya State Food Commission, and brought together senior government officials, administrative officers, stakeholders and faculty members.
The conference served as a significant platform to review institutional capacity-building efforts, assess organizational milestones, and chart a comprehensive roadmap for the future of civil service development in the region. The top performing Resource Persons and the best performers in iGOT courses were felicitated. The Capacity Building Plans (CBPs) of 47 departments were launched and the integration of MATI certificates with Digilocker was made live. The annual report and training calendar were also released
