Chief Electoral Officer, Meghalaya, chaired a meeting with representatives of recognized National and State Political Parties to review the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 2026. During the meeting, the latest status of Enumeration Form distribution and digitization, verification of ASDD cases, and the remaining activities leading up to the publication of the Draft Electoral Roll were discussed. The Chief Electoral Officer appreciated the continued cooperation of political parties and acknowledged the valuable role of Booth Level Agents (BLAs) in ensuring transparency, inclusiveness, and the successful implementation of the SIR process across the State.
