🚨 Awareness & Sensitisation Programme 🚨
In view of the increasing cases of illegal vehicle alterations causing inconvenience, noise pollution, and public disturbance, the Shillong Traffic Police has conducted an awareness and sensitisation programme for motor part dealers, workshops, and mechanics operating in Shillong city.
The programme focused on the importance of complying with the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and discouraging unlawful modifications such as altered exhausts, illegal lights, improper number plates, and other unauthorised alterations.
All vendors were urged to cooperate in ensuring safer, quieter, and more responsible roads for the general public. 🤝🚦
