Breathing Clean, Living Healthy.
The International Day of Clean Air and Blue Skies was observed in East Khasi Hills District with the participation of the District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO), District Medical & Community Health Officer (DMCHO), District Nodal Officer (DNO), and Medical Officers.
The observance highlighted the vital connection between clean air, a healthy environment, and the well-being of communities. It also served as an opportunity for health officials to reinforce the importance of creating greater awareness about air pollution, reducing exposure to harmful pollutants, and encouraging healthier and more sustainable practices.
Clean air is essential for everyone. By working together across communities and sectors, we can help protect our environment, prevent pollution-related health risks, and build a healthier future for all.
Let’s make every breath count—towards cleaner air and bluer skies.
