🇮🇳 “Our youth are the greatest strength of the nation.” — Union MoS for Youth Affairs & Sports,Raksha Khadse

Addressing the “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Purvottar” programme at IIM Shillong, Union Minister Raksha Khadse called for a mission-mode people’s movement against drug abuse and stressed the importance of youth participation in nation-building.

The programme, organised by MY Bharat under the Department of Youth Affairs, brought together spiritual organisations, civil society groups, youth leaders and institutions from across the North East to strengthen anti-drug awareness and youth engagement initiatives.

Highlighting the role of sports, culture and community participation, the Minister said empowering youth with positive opportunities is essential for achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The event was attended by Pallavi Jain Govil, Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs; Dr. Priyanka Shukla, CEO, MY Bharat; and Prof. Nalini Prava Tripathy, Director, IIM Shillong.
