The Department of Digital Technologies and Governance (DT&G), Government of Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), MeitY, Govt. of India, is organizing the State-Level Cyber Security Consultation Workshop today at IT Bhawan, Shimla.
Under the Chairpersonship of the Secretary (DT&G), Government of Himachal Pradesh, the workshop brings together key stakeholders to discuss critical cyber defense strategies, threat mitigation, and the roadmap for building resilient digital governance infrastructure across the state.

A training session on the e-Office application was successfully imparted to the officials of the Director, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training Sundernagar, on 08.07.2026. The training aimed at strengthening the administrative backbone for a transparent governance system.

A two-day capacity building Programme on the various software applications developed by the Department of Digital Technologies and Governance (DDT&G) was successfully conducted on 19th and 20th June, 2026 at the Conference Hall of H.P. Secretariat.
The programme witnessed active participation from Nodal Officers and senior officers from the HP Secretariat as well as various Directorates across the State. The sessions provided a comprehensive overview of the DDT&G softwares, highlighting key features, functionalities, implementation strategies, and the transformative potential of these digital solutions in enhancing governance and service delivery.
The orientation sessions were highly interactive and engaging. The participating officers raised several queries and shared valuable insights regarding the implementation and operational aspects of the software applications. The technical team from DDT&G addressed all queries comprehensively and provided necessary clarifications and guidance. The participating officers appreciated the digital initiatives undertaken by DDT&G and expressed their commitment towards the timely adoption and successful rollout of the DDT&G software solutions in their respective departments/ offices, thereby accelerating the State's digital transformation and e-Governance plan.

डिजिटल गवर्नेंस की दिशा में एक और कदम!
जल शक्ति विभाग ने अपनी कार्यप्रणाली में बड़ा बदलाव करते हुए प्रदेश के 101 कार्यालयों को ई-ऑफिस प्लेटफॉर्म से सफलतापूर्वक जोड़ लिया है। मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविन्द्र सिंह सुक्खू जी ने इस डिजिटल क्रांति की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इससे विभागीय कार्यों में न केवल गति आई है, बल्कि पारदर्शिता और समयबद्धता भी सुनिश्चित हुई है।
उप-मुख्यमंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री जी ने इसे विभाग को अधिक उत्तरदायी और दक्ष बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल बताया है। वहीं, सचिव डॉ. अभिषेक जैन ने विभाग के सभी अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों की प्रतिबद्धता की प्रशंसा की।

प्रमुख अभियंता कार्यालय से लेकर सचिवालय तक, अब फाइलों का संचालन पूरी तरह से डिजिटल हो रहा है। अब विभाग उप-मंडल स्तर पर भी पूर्णतः डिजिटल होने की ओर अग्रसर है।

On April 10, 2026, the Department of Digital Technologies organized a training session on the Asset Mapping Application for the Excise Department. During the session, officers and staff were briefed on the key features, working process, and overall importance of asset mapping. The training was conducted with the aim of strengthening their understanding and enabling more effective use of the application for improved planning, monitoring, and management.
