Government Senior Secondary School Ghanahatti, situated on Shimla-Mandi National Highway (NH88) just 13 kilometers from the Shimla Main City. The school is located at the beautiful location just at the starting of Bareli Forest Region. t is the branch of Army basically a starting point for the army, is under the guidance of Mr. Shankar Thakur(Caption [Not Sure]). The regular activity of NCC is ensure be the NCC incharge and lots of opportunity is given to students studying there. NSS- National Service Scheme- Firstly under the guidance of Mr. The NSS group attended 3 camps (till 2007), Two in Ghanahatti and One in Diggal, Solan. One of the most best thing about the school that the faculty and the Principal are co-operative in nature and allow us to do activities as possible and helps in functions and seminars.
