Historic Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Procession Held in Kashmir, Drawing Lakhs of Devotees

For the first time in the history of Kashmir, a grand, spiritual, dignified and peaceful Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ procession was organised, with lakhs of devotees from different districts of the Valley participating in the historic gathering.

The procession was organised under the banner of the Mutahida Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat Jammu & Kashmir. Thousands of devotees from various districts joined the procession with great enthusiasm, expressing their love and devotion for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Processions from different areas eventually converged at Dargah Hazratbal, where sacred relics associated with the Holy Prophet ﷺ are preserved. The grand procession culminated at the revered shrine.

On the occasion, prominent Muftis, Islamic scholars and spiritual leaders offered special prayers for peace, prosperity, brotherhood and unity in Kashmir. Special prayers were also offered for freeing society from the menace of drug abuse and for the protection and well-being of the younger generation.

The historic gathering conveyed a peaceful message of love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ, peace, brotherhood and unity across Kashmir.

J&K Police Shopian Holds Thana Diwas at Chotipora

Shopian Police organized a Thana Diwas at Chotipora under the chairmanship of SSP Shopian Sh. Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary–JKPS, with participation from local elders, traders, youth representatives and civil society members.
