Shopian Private Schools Association Thanks LG Administration, Government

The Private Schools Association Shopian on Tuesday expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor’s Administration and the Jammu and Kashmir Government for providing relief to private educational institutions in the registration and affiliation process.
The association held a press conference in Shopian, where its representatives welcomed the measures aimed at easing the procedural requirements for private schools.
The representatives said private educational institutions had been required to obtain multiple No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from different departments for registration and affiliation, which had remained a long-standing concern for the sector.
They said simplification of the process was among the long-pending demands of the Private Schools Association and appreciated the administration for taking steps in this direction.
President of the Private Schools Association Shopian, Hilal Ahmad Khan, expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor’s Administration and the government, saying the decision would provide much-needed relief to private schools and help reduce administrative hurdles.
The association also urged the authorities to continue considering the remaining issues faced by private educational institutions and work towards further streamlining the education sector.
