📌আসন্ন শিলচর পৌর নিগম নির্বাচন ২০২৬-এর প্রস্তুতির অংশ হিসেবে, মনোনয়ন প্রক্রিয়া সুচারুরূপে সম্পন্ন করার লক্ষ্যে আজ শিলচর পৌর নিগম কর্তৃক মনোনয়ন দাখিলের নির্ধারিত স্থান শিলচরের সরকারি বালক উচ্চতর মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের প্রাঙ্গণে পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও প্রস্তুতিমূলক কাজ সম্পন্ন করা হয়।

As part of preparations for the upcoming Silchar Municipal Corporation Election 2026, cleanliness and preparatory work were carried out by the Silchar Municipal Corporation today at the premises of Government Boys' High School, Silchar, the designated venue for the nomination process, in order to smoothly facilitate the nomination proceedings for candidates contesting the SMC Election 2026.

📌শিলচর পৌরনিগমের উদ্যোগে ৭ নং ওয়ার্ডের জানীগঞ্জ ভূঁইয়াবাড়ী রোড এবং ৯ নং ওয়ার্ডের পদ্মনগর বিলপাড় সংলগ্ন রাধামাধব এল.পি. স্কুল রোড এলাকায় নালা পরিষ্কারের কাজ সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

Silchar Municipal Corporation has successfully completed the drain cleaning work at Janiganj Bhuiyabari Road (Ward No. 7) and Radha Madhav L.P. School Road near Padmanagar Bilpar (Ward No. 9).

Silchar Municipal Corporation has successfully completed the drain cleaning work at Link Road Lane No. 8 (Ward No. 16) and Indrani Sarani at Das Colony (Ward No. 18).

Silchar Municipal Corporation has successfully completed the drain cleaning work along with the removal of garbage and mud at Saratpally Factory Lane and Saratpally Joyguru Lane in Ward No. 14.

Silchar Municipal Corporation has successfully completed the drain cleaning work at Westend Complex (Ward No. 19), Nasib Ali Lane (Ward No. 26), and Kalyani Lane (Ward No. 25).

Silchar Municipal Corporation has successfully completed the drain cleaning and grass clearing work at Tarapur ATM Gali (Nath Para Mahadev Bari) in Ward No. 28, and Tarapur Narshing Road By-Lane 01 in Ward No. 27.

📌শহরকে পরিচ্ছন্ন ও স্বাস্থ্যকর রাখতে প্রতি রাতে ১১:৩০ টা থেকে শিলচর পৌরনিগম এলাকা জুড়ে নিয়মিত রাস্তা ঝাড়ু দেওয়া এবং সাফাই অভিযান চালানো হচ্ছে। প্রায় ৫৩ জন মহিলা সাফাই কর্মী এই নৈশকালীন পরিচ্ছন্নতা কাজে নিয়োজিত রয়েছেন। শহরের পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখতে আমাদের কর্মীদের নিরলস প্রচেষ্টার কিছু ঝলক।

To keep the city clean and hygienic, regular road sweeping and sanitation drives are carried out across the Silchar Municipal Corporation area every night from 11:30 PM onwards. Approximately 53 female sweeping staff are dedicatedly working in this night-shift sanitation operation. Here are a few glimpses of our team working tirelessly to maintain city hygiene.
