Programme Coordinator and Volunteers of National Service Scheme Cell, AUS recived Appreciation certificates from Honorable Vice chancellor of Assam University, silchar for establishing various Milstone in previous Academic year. Some of the achivement are:
• NSS State Award to Programme coordinator of AUS NSS Cell.
• Organising 4 days NSS North East Festival in Assam University, Silchar.
• Best Participating Troop/ Contingent in Republic day at District Level HQ, Parade Competition Silchar.
• Organised Ashtalaxmi Youth Cultural Exchange programme, North east council (NEC).
• Youth Icon flagship event of Mybharat.
• Impactful participation in Viksit bharat Youth Parliament and Viksit bharat Vibrante Village Programme 2025 and 2026.

MyBharat NSS Volunteers from Assam University, Silchar had the privilege of witnessing the inspiring address of the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on the occasion of "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat."

The address motivated young volunteers to become ambassadors of a drug-free India and actively contribute towards building a healthier, stronger, and developed nation.

The Valedictory Ceremony of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADIT), 2026, followed by the Felicitation of Distinguished Guests, was held at Gandhi Bhawan, Silchar. The programme was organised by Monmohon Ghosh Anil Das Memorial College in collaboration with the Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS), Government of Assam. The ceremony was graced by Shri Parimal Suklabaidya, Hon'ble MP, Silchar Lok Sabha Constituency; Shri Rajdeep Goala, Hon'ble MLA, Udharbond LAC; Prof. Niranjan Roy, Vice-Chancellor, Gurucharan University; Prof. Dipendu Das, Assam University, Silchar; Dr. Bibash Deb, President, Governing body,Shri Anup Kumar Dutta, Cluster Programme Manager, DISHA; and Shri Sanjit Kr. Das, Director, Monmohon Ghosh Anil Das Memorial College.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony emerged as one of the key attractions of the Valedictory Ceremony, with the Hon'ble Member of Parliament, the Hon'ble Member of the Legislative Assembly, the Vice-Chancellor, and other distinguished guests honouring the winners and participants of the various competitions by presenting prizes, certificates, and mementoes. The occasion celebrated the enthusiasm and commitment of young participants in spreading awareness against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
