Lions Club of Siliguri EKALAVYA and Leo Club Ekalavya Legasio celebrated Teachers Day at the Clubhouse. Eminent Vice Chancellors, Professors and Teachers were falicitated for their contributions towards society and they shared words of wisdom on how to make this world a better place to live and how the younger generation can play a vital part in the same.

Today on behalf of Lions Club of Siliguri EKALAVYA and Leo Club EKALAVYA LEGASIO we celebrated the auspicious day of RAKHI through 8 different activities.

1. We started our day by tying Rakhi to our Honurable Mayor. The uniqueness about the program was these Rakhis were made by Class 4 students of Doon Heritage School, Siliguri.

2. Next we celebrated Rakhi with our Transgender sisters. The glaze in their eyes was worth mentioning.

3. We next went to celebrate with the Brothers and Sisters of BRAHMAKUMARI.

4. We gave the due respect to what they deserve to the officials of Siliguri Police Commisionarate at 11 different points covering from Uttorayon to Tinbatti More via Venus more. We tied Rakhis to 72 Frontliners from who serve us day and night without caring for weather.

5. We planted 30 saplings(Amrapali) at the Ramkrishna Ashram Sahudangi keeping the project of District in mind.

6. At Ramkrishna Ashram we distributed new clothes, saari, to 50 needy people.

7. At Ramkrishna Ashram Sahudangi we arranged Food for All for the needy.

8. The last activity of the day was a guiding session by Maharaj Pranavananda where he guided the LEOs on the importance of social service in the life of a student and how religion and science are interwind.
9.We have falicitated Wrridhima Saha eminent cricket player who is also our Brand Ambassador

BHARAT RAKSHA PARV - भारत रक्षा पर्व

Bharat Raksha Parv celebrated with Dainik Jagaran and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Hindi Girls School on 17/08/2023. Thousands of hand made “Rakhi” and “Long Life Wishes” made through the Girls Students of the school are being sent to the Military brothers of our country posted in the outskirts, who are engage in protection our country. They are remembered with pride on this Holy occasion.

It is a red letter day in the service itinerary of Lions Club of Siliguri Ekalavya.

This type of Mega Eye Check Up Camp only for girls is an example for the society.

The memorable address by the LION Governors, school HM, the social plugin by Dr Sudip Nath is praiseworthy.

We are going to conduct many such camps in the near future, and thus fulfill our duty to serve the society.
