📍 Porajhar Flood Relief – Day 3 Update

Continuing the ongoing flood relief initiative, NSS Unit 1 of Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya conducted its third day of relief work in Porajhar, distributing 25 juice packets, 30 biscuit packets, and 35 Glucon-D sachets among the affected residents to provide essential nutritional support. 🍪🧃

Volunteers Kajol Paul and Riya Sarkar actively participated in the distribution drive, showcasing true dedication, compassion, and the spirit of NSS service. ❤️✨

DISASTER MANAGEMENT

Due to continuous heavy rainfall, Porajhar was affected by severe flooding, disrupting daily life and access to essential supplies. In response to this crisis, both NSS Units of Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya actively engaged in disaster management and relief operations.

To ensure safe movement through the waterlogged areas, NSS volunteers constructed a temporary pathway using sandbags, enabling residents to reach the designated relief and shelter centre. Their prompt action, teamwork, and compassion exemplify the true spirit of service, dedication, and humanity that the NSS upholds.
