Today the Dept of Business Administration SIT (MBA Program)organised a symposium on Entrepreneurship Development. The Keynote speaker was Mr. Subhasish Chatterjee , Managing Director of IT Solutions, Consultant of Google Inc.
Objective of today's expert talk was to spark the entrepreneurial mindset by bringing real stories and practical insights to aspiring founders. It aimed to showcase journeys of a successful entrepreneur, including failures and pivots, to show what’s possible.

Mr Arnab Mallick, an alumnus of SIT (B.Tech CSE in 2007 passout) and IIM Kozhikode, Senior Manager of Cargill Corp. shared his journey from a fresher to a corporate leader with the MBA students today. Mr Mallick spoke about emerging opportunities in consulting, and guided students on enhancing their skills through professional courses and continuous learning. He also highlighted the effective use of job board based professional social media platforms for networking and career growth, while encouraging students to build a strong alumni network that supports and uplifts future batches. Intra Department Case Study Competition organised by MBA Department.
In this competition MBA students tackled real business problems under time pressure. Teams analyzed complex scenarios from companies, craft data-driven solutions, and pitch strategies to judges from industry and academia. It tested critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills, all the things recruiters love to see. Beyond medals and certificates, students got the exposure to actual business challenges, feedback from expert Mr Neeraj Chowdhury a seasoned entrepreneur having 25 years of corporate experiences in the field of Wealth Management.
