Shri Ashutosh Dwivedi, Director (Technical), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), inspected Amlohri Project on 05.09.2026 and reviewed the status of mining and coal evacuation operations.
He reviewed OB dump management, including benching at OB dump yards, coal exposure, working sequence of mining of barrier coal lying locked between Nigahi and Amlohri boundary, haul road layout, and directed for maintaining consistent dispatch to linked power plants through CHP/ silo system.
AGM, PO (Amlohri), TS to DTO, and other project officials were present during the visit.

Shri Ashutosh Dwivedi, Director (Technical), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), inspected Bina Project on 04.09.2026 and reviewed key aspects of mining and coal evacuation operations.

During the visit, he inspected Surface Miner face, Purewa Bottom Pump Station, coal transportation roads, and the roads leading to the CHP receiving pit. He also reviewed the current status of coal exposure, performance of coal transportation contracts and dispatch activities, CHP operations and monsoon management measures and activities.

He emphasized on maximizing coal despatch, improving the performance of coal transportation contracts and to ensure uninterrupted coal supply. He also stressed upon maintaining high standards of safety while optimizing available resources.
AGM, Project Officer, GM (Mining)/TS to D (T/O), and other senior officials of the project were present during the inspection.
