Today, the Deputy Director Horticulture, Yangang, and HDO Yangang, conducted an extensive field visit along with VLW Agri-cum-Horticulture GPU In-charge, staff from Yangang and Lingee VLW Circle across multiple wards of our circle to review ongoing horticultural activities and interact with farmers.
Kaw Ward
1) The team first visited the vegetable field of Shri Pitambar Bhattarai, Kaw Ward, where valuable field-level observations were shared.
2) Mandarin Cultivation:
Thereafter, the team visited the mandarin orchard of Shri Joel Sampang Rai. The Deputy Director conducted an on-field training and demonstration on mandarin cultivation, with special emphasis on scientific mandarin pruning techniques, benefiting both farmers and departmental staff.
Chauridara Ward
1) Kiwi Cultivation:
The team then proceeded to Chauridara Ward, where kiwi farmers fields were inspected. An awareness programme along with a live demonstration on kiwi pruning and nursery management was conducted.
During the programme, the Deputy Director also distributed:

Lower Lingee
1) Tomato Cultivation:
The visit concluded at Lower Lingee with the inspection of the tomato field of Shri Bishnu Lall Adhikari, where poly pipes for irrigation were provided to support efficient water management.
We sincerely thank the Deputy Director, Horticulture and HDOYangang, for visiting our area, interacting directly with farmers, and sharing valuable technical insights. Such field-based guidance and support greatly motivate farmers and strengthen sustainable horticultural practices in our circle.
