Budgam: The Gujjar Bakarwal Government Employees Association (GBGEA), Budgam, held an important district-level meeting in Bonion under the leadership of Choudhary Mohammad Ashraf Theakry, Zonal President, Central Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by Choudhary Ghulam Rasool Theakry, District President, Choudhary Mushtaq Ahmad Kalas, and other senior members of the association.During the meeting, the association constituted its Tehsil bodies for Chadoora and Khansahib and also assigned key responsibilities at the district level to strengthen the organisational structure.For Tehsil Chadoora, Mushtaq Ahmad Kharie was appointed President, while Choudhary Bashir Ahmad Theakry and Shabir Ahmad Gorsi were appointed Vice Presidents. Abdul Rashid Theakry was appointed General Secretary, Nazir Ahmad Dinda Advisor, Tariq Nazir Joint Secretary, Parvaiz Ahmad Theakry Organizer and Tanveer Ahmad Theakry Coordinator.For Tehsil Khansahib, Mohammad Latif Janjo Faraswar was appointed President and Mohammad Shafi Kallas Kuchwari Vice President.
At the district level, Nazir Ahmad Khatana was appointed Additional General Secretary, while Advocate Danish Ahmad Choudhary was appointed Legal Advisor.The participants expressed their commitment to making GBGEA a strong, united and effective platform for safeguarding the legitimate rights, addressing genuine grievances and promoting the welfare of government employees.
The newly appointed office-bearers were congratulated, and best wishes were extended to them for a successful tenure and effective service to the employees and the association.
