Rafiabad Youth Welfare Expresses Deep Condolences on the Demise of Er. Owais Farooq

Rafiabad Youth Welfare expresses its deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the untimely demise of Er. Owais Farooq of Rohama, Rafiabad, a great and dynamic human being and an inspiring youth icon.
His passing is an immense loss to his family, friends and the entire community. Owais Farooq was known for his positive attitude, humility, dedication and inspiring presence among the youth.

Rafiabad Youth Welfare stands in solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult and painful time. We pray to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul Jannat-ul-Firdous and give the family strength and Sabr-e-Jameel to bear this irreparable loss.

Rafiabad Youth Welfare strongly demands the installation of an ATM facility at Tragpora, keeping in view the genuine difficulties faced by residents of Tragpora and several adjoining villages that depend on the area for essential services.

The absence of an ATM forces residents, particularly elderly people, pensioners, farmers, traders and students, to travel considerable distances for basic cash-withdrawal facilities.

We therefore urge the Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, to kindly take up the matter with the concerned banking authorities and facilitate the installation of an ATM at Tragpora at the earliest.

Providing an ATM facility at Tragpora would be an important step towards improving banking access and public convenience for the people of the surrounding villages.

It is hereby informed that the following members have been expelled from the membership of Rafiabad Youth Welfare, with immediate effect:

2. Tariq Ahmad Hajam
3. Manzoor Ahmad Paray

The decision has been taken by the organization in accordance with its internal rules and in the interest of maintaining discipline, unity, and the proper functioning of Rafiabad Youth Welfare.

With effect from the date of this notice, the above-mentioned individuals shall no longer be considered members or representatives of Rafiabad Youth Welfare and shall not use the organization's name, identity, or platform for any official activity.

INVITATION FOR SUGGESTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ROHAMA & ADJOINING AREAS

Through the initiative of BJP Senior Leader Shri M. M. War Sahib, suggestions are hereby invited from the residents, traders, youth, elders, civil society members and all other stakeholders of Rohama and adjoining areas of Rafiabad for the comprehensive development and improvement of the area.

The objective is to identify the genuine public needs, developmental priorities and long-pending issues of the area and compile them into a comprehensive memorandum for submission before the concerned authorities.

Suggestions may be submitted regarding:

- Roads, drainage and bridges
- Drinking water supply
- Electricity and street lighting
- Healthcare facilities
- Education and school infrastructure
- Sanitation and waste management
- Sports and playground facilities
- Public transport and connectivity
- Employment and skill development
- Markets and public amenities
- Parks and recreational facilities
- Any other issue concerning public welfare and development

All residents and stakeholders are requested to participate actively and submit constructive, practical and priority-based suggestions so that the developmental needs of Rohama and its adjoining areas can be presented collectively before the concerned authorities.

Rafiabad Youth Welfare Visits Kandi Belt, Plans Special Awareness Camps

Rohama, Rafiabad | 30 July 2026

A team of Rafiabad Youth Welfare, led by Chairman Er. Aamir War, today visited the Kandi belt of Rafiabad to interact with local residents and assess the social challenges facing the area.

During the visit, the team met with members of the local community and discussed important issues, including drug abuse, domestic violence, youth engagement, and community welfare. The interaction highlighted the need for sustained awareness and collective action to address these concerns.

Uniform Reveal & Organizational Meeting of Rafiabad Youth Welfare

Rafiabad Youth Welfare is pleased to announce the unveiling of its new official uniform, marking an important step towards strengthening the organisation’s identity, unity, discipline, and professionalism.

Following the successful registration of the organisation, an organisational meeting was also held to discuss and review the future roadmap and upcoming programmes of Rafiabad Youth Welfare.

During the meeting, Chairman Er.
