J & K Yateem Foundation JKYF is a non-political, non-governmental, voluntary welfare organization in Jammu and Kashmir.

The J&K Yateem Foundation (JKYF) was established on Wednesday, 15th March 2000 (8th Zilhaja 1420 AH). The Foundation is a non-political, non-government organization working for the welfare of orphans, widows, handicapped persons, poor and other destitute without any consideration of religion, race and region. JKYF is registered with Registrar of Societies, J&K Government under Registration No: 375

8-S of 2001 and registered with Home Ministry of India, under Foreign Contribution Regulations Act (FCRA). This voluntary and charitable organization is also registered with Income Tax Department for Income Tax Exemption granted under Section 80-G.

Chairman J&K Yateem Foundation Visits Baitul Hilal Sopore*

Today, on 24th August 2025, the worthy Chairman , J&K Yateem Foundation *Br. Mohammad Ehsan Rather Sb.* paid a visit to Baitul Hilal Sopore, where he interacted warmly with the resident scholars and staff members. His presence infused a new spirit of motivation, hope, and belonging among the children, who felt deeply encouraged by his kind words and fatherly guidance.

During the interaction, the Chairman emphasized the importance of education, discipline, and moral values as the true wealth of life. He appreciated the dedication of the employees in nurturing the scholars with love, care, and responsibility, and assured continued support from the Foundation in all spheres of their growth and development.

The visit not only strengthened the bond between the leadership of JKYF and its beneficiaries but also reaffirmed the *Foundation’s mission of serving humanity with compassion, sincerity, and commitment.*
