Chief Minister today laid the foundation stone for developmental works at Kashmir Government Polytechnic, Srinagar, and e-inaugurated infrastructure upgrades worth ₹4.20 crore across Government Polytechnics in Kishtwar, Ramban, Kulgam and Kupwara.

Chief Minister today inaugurated the 41st National Convention of Chemical Engineers and National Seminar on "Biomass-A Sustainable Resource for Decarbonising the Economy" in Srinagar.

​Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted J&K’s rich agricultural, horticultural, and forestry sectors, emphasizing how biomass waste can be transformed into clean energy, which will create new economic opportunities. He called for collaborative efforts between academia, research and industry to drive "lab-to-field" innovations.

The Chief Minister also called on engineers to shape Jammu & Kashmir's development story by not just building more, but by building better and sustainably.
