"What we are doing to forests of the world is nothing but a mirror reflection of what we're doing to ourselves and to one another", said Chris Maser, an ecologist par excellence. Celebrated on 21st March every year, World Forest Day reminds the significance of the trees and the forests in our daily life. This year the theme for the day is "Forests and Education".
Forest is not only the resource provider for us, but also it is the root of our life. Everyone should know the values of the trees and necessary actions should be taken against deforestation for a healthier, happier and better life.
NSS SVC wishes you all a very Happy World Forest Day.
On this highly revered day, let's take a pledge to protect and celebrate our forests because they are as imperative as any other natural amenity.
