In view of the upcoming Independence Day, a major proactive naka checking drive was conducted today at Khandikar under the leadership of DySP (H.Q.) Tamulpur along with OC Tamulpur PS, IC Kaurbaha PP, & Battalion personnel.

2 cases were registered under Sec 281 BNS r/w MV Act against violators. Strict vigilance will continue across the district to ensure public safety

An enforcement drive targeting rash driving and traffic violations was carried out today in the Gandhibari OP area under the supervision of DySP (HQ).

A total of three (03) cases were detected for rash driving and non-compliance under the MV Act, and proceedings to register the cases are underway.

Citizens are urged to strictly adhere to traffic safety norms.
