The vision society is a non profitable social organization which is registered under the society act 1956 of govt. The Vision society founded at 13 July 2012 at chamba by the young group of boys and girls who comes from different streams of education and different area of tehri district of uttrakhand . To stop migration cause of economic problem at hilly area –
Migration is a
universal phenomenon since the immemorial time . and its social and economic implications have been wildly recognized . But in case of uttrakhand and specially hilly region migration is now become one of the most biggest issue in front of government and policy makers. Uttrakhand was separated from the Uttarpradesh to work out on hilly areas problems and natural resources which are available at uttrakhand but after separation (9 Nov 2000) uttrakhand rapidly undergone of migration. The census of 2001 shows the social issue just like marriage and moved with house hold is reason of short distance migration but long distance is cause of economical issues. To solve the economic crisis organization decided to work out on small scale industry and skill development of youth and women’s group of villages . After a research on 20 villages and 430 house hold organization find out that mostly economy of hilly area is depend on money order system . In that system one person of house hold is live at nearest town or state or may be abroad for job or business and he sent money to his family for survive but from last few years as per the graph of dearness rising at top. Two or more then tow person from a family went to towns and work to sustain there economy . After few year they moved permanently from rural to urban area with the house hold. After this out come of research organization planed to create 3 SHG group of women provide them machinery and technically training . This was the plane to make women enterprises to develop there economic condition .

All the units stabled by the Organization with the support of organization member’s self contribution . The future plane of Organization is to develop 100 small and rural enterprises of women which would be produce the product based on local raw material .
2. Promote the traditional agriculture and seeds –
More then 80 % of population who lives in hilly region is involve at agriculture work and its second main source of income after money order . From last few years migration ratio rise up and people leaving there fields . The Vision Society found in a survey that more then 90 % youth dose not want to be a part of agriculture work . Organization define the importance of traditional agriculture here is few example
1. Sustainable agro-economy structure – Agriculture and animal husbandry is a most important part of hill’s villages and it plays a great role of there sustainable economy . People sold there agriculture products in market and purchase things which they need in there daily life as they sold milk or vegetable at there nearest market and buying oil and sugar etc. in consideration . This market management is called Rural based economy (xzkE;okn vFkZO;oLFkk) . in big citys you cant make this kind of deals . so we want to motivate youth boys and girls to work back on agriculture
2. To promote agriculture biodiversity of hills – In the hilly region you cant find the big farmers and huge plots for agriculture. Farmer work on small fields which looks like small steps but you can see the awesome biodiversity. As the information we get from farmers more then 350 varieties of paddy, 260 type of Rajma, 28 varieties of wheat, 20 types of millets and etc. has discovered by the farmers and a trained of traditional agriculture is called mix crop trained (ckjkuktk) . Where we can see more then 12 crops in a field and every crop support another to grow . This is the traditional science of farmers .
3. Work for Food safety- Although Uttrakhand and its hilly region has no big contribution in the field of growing grain and help for food safety of Indian population but if people work on there agriculture field they might not be good exporter but they will also not be a grain importer and they will not be depend on food which comes from Hariyana and Punjab .
4. Save traditional seed and alternate of G.M. seed – Seed, field and crop is the asset of farmer and that’s why it works like entrepreneur but now the entrepreneur is become a labor of those big companies which are controlling seed business . The seed which can purchased by the farmer 5 to 10 rupee at few year back is now 200 to 1000 rupee and seed are just a proprietary of big companies. Organization want to save and preserve the traditional seed . If we compare the traditional seed and hybrid or GM seed we will find the germination capacity of traditional seed is same as per the last year but GM seed can be lost its germination capacity to 40 to 60% so we have to purchase seed every time and farmer will not have any alternate . Besides of it for the G.M seed farmer need more irrigation and fertilizer and pesticide is must . These all things make farming costly
To get solution of all these topics The Vision Society have planed to work out on agriculture and organization create a structure is called Kisaan Pathsala . Its is a project which is stabled at a village name is Hadam malla where organization take irrigated 15 Naali land on 12000 lease per year in the year of 2013 . Organization’s member work on that land which was .Banjar from last 5 years and create it like a laboratory . Organization select field for different crops like
1. Traditional grains –
2. Vegetable
3. Traditional vegetable
4. Medicinal plants
6. Fish pond and duck husbandry
After selecting area for these crop organization select faculties of this laboratory where we can spared the outcome of experiments. 5 villages were selected which are located in different landscape and weather condition . Here is the modal of Kisaan Pathsala
Besides it organization start awareness campaign among the students of inter collages. Future plane of organization is to create employment through agriculture . And start new concept of agro tourism . Through the Kisnaan Pathsala The Vision Society will make comparison of different verities and select them for different areas as per their climate and geographical condition . In the concept of Integrated agriculture organization is focusing on animal husbandry, Fisheries, Floriculture, compost etc…..
3.Awareness about digital literacy in rural area –
In The hilly region of uttrakhand we can see the poor condition of education specially in terms of digital literacy . Digital education is one of the begins factor which create distance between rural and urban children .In the time of globalization rural student always face problems in jobs and there study just lake of computer and internet knowledge . The Vision Society understand the importance of this issue and planed a sustainable project “RURAL DIGITAL GYAN CENTER ” means stabile small and movable computer centers among more then 10 villages for 6 month basic computer and internet knowledge. Vision Society stabled first Rural digital gyan center at small town Tangla in June 2013 which is located among 10 villages and too far from main city. In the 6 month period more then 50 boys and girls get computer education from there and also 5 head of village learn how make there data online and digitalize. 2nd Rural digital gyan center was stabled at small town called Jaripani located in Mussiore road and center point of 8 villages. There three villages of them of manor communities. In present time 45 boys and girls have digital literate from there, Rural digtal gyan center of jaripani is continually running now and After success fully running center of Taangal is now transferred to Gyansu in Mar 2014 this center is running now
At present time The Vision Society have 13 computer and 2 leptop and running 2 cneters . Future planning of RDGC is to create more then 5 movable center in different area of remote small towns . The Vision Society has a vision to teach village’s pradhan online work and make website of all villages to make online panchayat it whould be help villager to get any data or any ifromation about threre villages and villages will be word wide
