*CHG Meeting*

Thiruvananthapuram Railway Child Help Desk conducted a Child Help Group (CHG) meet at the meeting hall, TVC on 20th December 2022. The meeting started with silent prayer. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Roshma Mary (Counsellor, CHD). The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. Joy (SMRC, TVC). Ms Zeena Sunil presented the previous month’s report, total case interventions, day observance and special programme in PowerPoint presentation. The Keynote address was delivered by Fr. Saji Elambasseril ( Director, RCHD). The felicitation was delivered by Mr. Babloo Thomas ( Station Manager, TVC). After that, Mrs. Zeena presented the last CHG meeting minutes report and the agendas. All the agendas were approved by the Officials. Mrs. Usha Kumari.S(CTI, TVC), Mr. G Suresh Kumar (ASI, RPF) and Mr.N.V Jinesh (SSE, Electrical Department) , Vidya Mohan ( CHI/TVC), Shini Roy R.V ( CPO, GRP), the staff of Tele communication Department, and CHD Staff also participated in the meeting and were actively involved in the open discussion. The vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Aiswarya Lawrence (RCHD Team Member)). Mr. Roshma Mary T.S( Counsellor,RCHD) hosted the meeting, Mr.Jeffin John (Team Member) provide technical support to the meeting.

*സുരക്ഷിത ബാല്യം*

Thiruvananthapuram Railway Childline organised CHILDLINE Se Dosti Week program named as *സുരക്ഷിത ബാല്യം 2022* on 19th November 2022 at Central Railway Station, TVC. The program was started with Flash mob by BSW Students of National College, TVM. Welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Zeena Sunil (Coordinator, Railway Childline). The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Shaniba Beegam, (Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee, Trivandrum). Rev. Fr. Jiji Kalavanal( Rector, Don Bosco Veedu Society) presided over the ceremony. The Keynote address was delivered by Mrs. Chitralekha, (District Protection Officer, TVM). To light up the event, the theme song was presented by Mr. Jayan (RPF Officer, TVC) on the theme of drug prevention and also by Mrs. Amala PC (Volunteer, Railway Childline TVC) on the theme Child Labour. A live quiz competition was organised in association with the DREAM Project to propagate the prevention of drug usage in youths and also to introduce the DREAM project to the public. Many people take part in this competition and it was mediated by Neha Joseph, (District Coordinator, Dream Project). The Pledge to anti- drug usage vocalised by Mr. Ajith Kumar (Inspector, RPF, TVC). The felicitation was given to the programme by Mr Joy B R(Commercial Manager, TVC), Mr Babloo(Station Master, TVC), Mr. Biju Kumar (SHO, GRP) and Mr. Manuel George (Programme Manager, Don Bosco Veedu Society). The program was concluded with Street play by National College BSW Students & the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Jeffin John (Team Member, Railway Childline). The program was hosted by Ms. Aiswarya Lawrence (Team member, RCHD, TVC ).

After the engagement the youngest MLA of Kerala Adv. K M SACHIN DEV (Balussery constituency) and the youngest MAYOR of INDIA ARYA RAJENDRAN S (Mayor, TVM. Corporation) visit the CHD Cabin and we gave awareness about Railway Childline, TVC.
