A Warm Hand of Care for Periyar’s Little Ones to Withstand the Monsoon!
​Under the leadership of the Earthing Nature Foundation, umbrellas were distributed to children in the tribal settlements of Mannakkudi 1, 2, 3, and Paliyakudi under the Thekkadi Range of the Periyar Tiger Reserve.
​The official distribution was inaugurated by Lakshmi R., Assistant Field Director of the Periyar East Division. The event witnessed the presence of Thekkadi Range Forest Officer Francis M. Yohannan, Sociologist Akhila, along with other forest department officials and EDC members. Speakers at the event noted that such philanthropic initiatives are highly exemplary in improving the living conditions and ensuring the safety of the tribal communities.
