Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology Explores Collaboration Opportunities with STPI Thiruvananthapuram

A delegation from Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Thiruvananthapuram, visited Software Technology Parks of India, Thiruvananthapuram, to explore potential areas of collaboration in innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and industry–academia engagement.

The college delegation comprised Dr. Tessy Mathew, Professor; Dr. Jisha John, Professor; Ms. Indu V, Assistant Professor; and Mr. Justin Joseph, Corporate Relations In-Charge. The delegation held discussions with Shri Ganesh Nayak K, Director, STPI Thiruvananthapuram; Dr.Dittin Andrews Andrews, Scientist 'F'; Mr. Samraj Daniel C., Additional Director; and Mr. Mahesh M. Nair, Additional Director.

The meeting focused on identifying collaborative opportunities in emerging technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, startup incubation, skill development, internships, joint research initiatives, commercialization of academic innovations and cloud & GPU. The discussions also explored mechanisms to strengthen industry–academia partnerships for fostering innovation and enhancing student employability.

Both STPI and MBCET expressed their intent to work together in developing a collaborative framework that leverages STPI's innovation ecosystem and the academic strengths of Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology to create impactful outcomes for students, researchers, startups, and the technology ecosystem.
