Thokchom Jibon:
from Village
In 2015, a young changemaker from Khangabok Makha Leikai (RUC Club), Thokchom Jibon Singh, son of Thokchom Madhu Singh, achieved a historic milestone by receiving the National Youth Award from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
The honour was presented at the National Youth Festival 2016, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) — comprising ₹40,000, a medal, shawl, and citation. Before this prestigious national recognition, Jibon had also received the District Youth Award 2015 from the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Manipur.
A founder member of Club25 International Manipur, Jibon has been acknowledged for his outstanding contribution to community service and youth empowerment. His dedication also earned him the International Humanitarian Award 2015 and the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose National Award 2014.
Currently, he serves in the Fisheries Department, Government of Manipur, continuing his inspiring journey of leadership and social service.
