Tinsukia Municipal Board celebrated Vishwakarma Puja on 17th September 2025 with the participation of the Citiyano De Solutions team.

On this auspicious occasion, we offered our prayers to Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and craftsman, seeking blessings for progress, safety, and prosperity in our work and service to the people of Tinsukia.

Inauguration of Tinsukia Municipal Board’s New Vehicle Service & Maintenance Facility

A dedicated space has been established for the upkeep, repair, and washing of TMB’s waste collection vehicles. This facility will ensure smoother operations and greater efficiency in our mission to keep Tinsukia clean and green.

The inauguration was graced in the presence of our Hon’ble Chairman Sir, Vice-Chairman Ma’am, EO Sir, and the Ward Commissioners, whose guidance and support continue to strengthen our commitment towards better waste management for the city.

On 14th August, Tinsukia Municipal Board, in collaboration with the Citiyano De Solutions, organized a Health Camp for sanitation workers.
With the theme "Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhta, Swasth Safai Karmi, Swasth Jeevan Ka Sandesh!", the initiative highlighted the importance of safeguarding the health of those who keep our surroundings clean.
A total of 146 sanitation workers benefitted from free health check-ups, marking a meaningful step towards health, dignity, and a cleaner future.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the IEC Paura Sakhis prepared 63 beautifully handcrafted rakhis, carrying the message that plastic bags should not be used and paper bags should be preferred.

To spread this awareness, the rakhis were distributed and tied at Daily Bazaar and Vegetable Market. The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chairperson Indira Roy, who extended her full support to the initiative.

This celebration not only strengthened the bonds of love and tradition but also highlighted our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

Keeping Tinsukia Clean & Aware!

Under the Garbage Free Tinsukia initiative, Tinsukia Municipal Board carried out a special cleanliness drive at a Garbage Vulnerable Point (GVP) in Ward No. 1 in the presence of the Chairman, Vice Chairman (Ward Commissioner ward 1), Executive officer, SHG, Ward members and representatives from all departments under SBM (Sanitation Team, User Fee Collectors, Garbage Vehicle Team and IEC Team)

Alongside the cleanup, door-to-door awareness was conducted covering surrounding households (142) - addressing residents' queries for understanding people's issues, and encouraging active participation in keeping our city clean.
