Civil Defence, Tinsukia volunteers engaged in crowd control and rescue operations during the visit of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam to Margherita on 24-08-2025.
Dy Controller (Tinsukia District) Mr. Rupanta Sonowal and Dy Controller (Digboi) Mr. Bhaskar Deka were in charge of the team and Trainer Mr. Nayandeep Nirmolia supervised the entire operation.

As a part of its ongoing drive to engage vulnerable Communities in Disaster Management, a week-long Special Basic Training Camp has been organized at the remote part of the Tinsukia District, Bordumsa. More than 20 volunteers have been imparted taining on First Aid and Rescue methods.
