Amara Raja Energy & Mobility reported a resilient FY26 performance, delivering 16% revenue growth in Q4 despite a dynamic external environment.

The Company’s automotive business recorded over 20% OEM growth, and a steady aftermarket momentum, while the new energy business registered an impressive 60% year-on-year revenue growth. Strong growth in the home energy segment and continued expansion of lithium solutions for telecom further strengthened the Company’s growth trajectory.

ARE&M also continued moving ahead across key future-focused projects. Progress across the Giga Corridor, R&D centre, qualification plant and upcoming BESS facility reflected the company’s growing momentum in its 'Made-in-India' cell journey and expanding energy storage capabilities.

Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) is a battery rating that measures how much current a 12-volt battery can deliver at 0°F (–18°C) for 30 seconds while maintaining at least 7.2 volts. In colder conditions, where thicker engine oil and increased friction make engines harder to start, CCA determines the battery’s ability to deliver instant starting power. Simply put, the higher the CCA rating, the higher the battery’s starting power.

Our vision for the Amara Raja Giga Corridor is rapidly becoming a physical reality. Our cell manufacturing plant is almost ready for operations, with our 5GWh Battery Pack plant and a 2W/3W pack line backed by the credibility of millions of on-road miles.

With the Customer Qualification Plant (CQP) for cell manufacturing now ready for commission, the countdown to full-scale production has officially begun.

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility’s lithium deployments in telecom have crossed 1 GWh - operating daily across ~50,000 sites in some of India’s most demanding, distributed environments.

With ~35% market share, Amara Raja has been a trusted partner to Indian telecom for decades, building deep, on-ground capability, from deployment and service to increasingly localised BMS and controls.

What began in telecom is now a launchpad for adjacent segments such as UPS and ESS, with product rollouts nearing. Alongside a 1.5 GWh assembly base, which is further expanding, and cell manufacturing approaching commencement, we are strengthening the capabilities required to support advanced energy storage at scale.
