​We are thrilled to announce that a 5-day FREE intensive guidance camp is currently underway at JNV Jorhat! From May 10th to May 14th, students from various blocks across the Jorhat district have gathered for specialized coaching.
​Organized by the dedicated Team JNV Guide, this program is designed to give Class 5 students the edge they need to crack the JNVST 2026 and secure their future in Class 6 in JNV Jorhat.

The academic results for the session 2025–26 were declared at JNV Jorhat in a happy and proud atmosphere. Students received their results with excitement, and many did very well. It was a joyful moment for everyone.

Rank holders were awarded medals and trophies for their excellent performance. Guardians of the rank holders also attended the programme, making the occasion even more special and memorable.

Teachers were thanked for their support and guidance, and parents were appreciated for helping their children throughout the year.

Cane & Bamboo Craft Mela 🎋✨
After two months of dedicated learning in our Cane & Bamboo Craft Workshop, our students proudly showcased their incredible handmade creations at today’s Craft Mela! 🎨

The Mela was inaugurated by the Principal, Mr. Manohar Singh Negi. The efforts and guidance of Mr. Prasanta Chanda were clearly reflected in the students’ work.

The exhibition was enjoyed and appreciated by everyone. It was a proud moment to see students learning new skills and creating beautiful items. An attempt by the school community to keep the heritage alive! 👏🌟

Students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Jorhat visited Rain Forest Research Institute(ICFRE-RFRI) Jorhat for an educational exposure under PMSHRI
During the visit, students participated in various informative activities related to bamboo and cane, learning about their uses, processing techniques, and potential for sustainable development.

R. K. Kalita, Head of the Extension Division, warmly welcomed the students and conducted an interactive session to sensitize them on Bamboo-based Entrepreneurship Development.
