Defunct ₹5-Crore ‘Har Ghar Jal’ Project Revived in Dadasara; Borewell Re-Digging Begins
After years of uncertainty and hardship, the long-stalled Jal Jeevan Mission (Har Ghar Jal) pump well project—valued at ₹5 crore—has finally been revived in Dadasara, rekindling hope among residents grappling with an acute drinking water crisis.
The scheme, sanctioned for Dadasara and established at Mirpora to provide safe and potable drinking water to the entire village, received its work order on 07 July 2022. Unfortunately, later that year the borewell dried up, triggering severe water shortages and disrupting the daily lives of villagers. Despite the urgency of the situation, the issue remained unresolved for a prolonged period.
During this testing phase, the CivicDadasara Welfare Council consistently and resolutely took up the matter with the concerned authorities, ensuring that the project did not slip into neglect. These sustained efforts, complemented by the timely intervention and unwavering support of the Hon’ble MLA Tral, Rafiq Ahmad Naik Sahib, ultimately proved instrumental in breaking the impasse.
Owing to this collective resolve—and the cooperative and supportive attitude of households along the approach road in facilitating the removal of bottlenecks—the defunct project has now been restored to life, and re-digging of the borewell has officially commenced.
The people of Dadasara have expressed heartfelt gratitude to MLA Rafiq Ahmad Naik Sahib and the CivicDadasara Welfare Council for transforming a long-pending aspiration into reality and reviving hope for a sustainable solution to the village’s drinking water needs. Notably, another complementary project is also in the pipeline, which is expected to provide significant additional relief in addressing the water challenges faced by the village.

Standing for Girls Education in Dadasara
For more than three years, our Girls High School (GHS) Dadasara has been functioning from a limited number of rooms within HSS Dadasara. While this temporary arrangement allowed continuity in education, it has gradually become insufficient for a growing High School and its students.Throughout this period, this civic body, in close coordination with community elders and parents, has been consistently and responsibly engaging with the Administration to secure a permanent and dignified solution. Considerable effort has gone into pursuing the relocation of GHS Dadasara to its own allotted premises, including navigating procedural and environmental requirements such as the pruning of overhanging chinar trees. These efforts are ongoing, and we remain hopeful that the transition will materialize in the coming months.
In the meantime, and purely in the interest of academic welfare, the civic body has humbly requested only the bare minimum—three rooms to accommodate classes and staff. Recognizing the genuineness of the issue, the Administration issued directions on multiple occasions requesting the temporary sharing of one additional annexed room currently used for non-academic purposes by HSS Dadasara.
On 12 December 2025, the Tehsildar Tral, on the directions of higher authorities, personally visited the site and acknowledged the gravity of the situation.Regrettably, despite sincere efforts and goodwill from all sides, the difficulty continues.
What the community wishes to emphasize is that the CivicDadasara’s approach has always been constructive, patient, and solution-oriented. There has never been any intent to inconvenience another institution. At the same time, proposals suggesting the merger of the two schools initiating from a common time table under the guise of self interested resource sharing cause understandable concern, as the Girls High School is the result of years of collective struggle, advocacy, and sacrifice by the people of Dadasara.
As caretakers of our village institutions, we believe that both schools can flourish without compromising each other, provided temporary adjustments are guided by empathy and administrative wisdom.
This post is shared purely for public awareness, with faith in the system and gratitude for the efforts already made by concerned officers. We look forward to a timely, humane, and balanced resolution that safeguards independent girls’ education and community aspirations.
Together, with patience and cooperation, solutions emerge

Gratitude
We take immense pleasure in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to all the authorities and functionaries who extended their helping hand in retrieving our local ambulance, which had remained in the Health Directorate for quite some time.
Its prolonged absence — after being sent for technical correction — caused great hardship to the people of our area. Patients in distress and their attendants were the worst sufferers, struggling in emergencies without timely medical transport.
It was indeed a great relief when our humble appeal was compassionately heard by the Hon’ble MLA, who, treating it as a humanitarian concern, took up the matter with the concerned authorities. His timely intervention and sincere efforts proved invaluable in restoring this essential facility to our locality.
On behalf of the residents of Block Dadasara and adjoining localities, we extend our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the Hon’ble MLA for his understanding, empathy, and people-friendly approach. We pray for his continued strength in serving the public with the same spirit of compassion and dedication.
