Children's Art Society

Children's Art Society Building a community of artists to join hands in bringing back fun and imagination to low resource classrooms of government schools in rural India.

CAS works on children's metacognition through the arts and creates mindful content that can be easily applied in student's educational experience in the school space. We are currently located in Udaipur, Rajasthan where we work with government schools in tribal areas. If you are an artist/educator and would like to volunteer with us, please leave us a message and we will get in touch with you. Apply for our Internship program here: https://goo.gl/wsaEsP

Children’s Art Society uses art to work on children’s social and emotional development, directly focusing on skills like confidence, persistence, empathy, and self-control, in order to improve school retention and make the school environment more inclusive. Considering that the world we live in today is extremely volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous, we believe that Emotional Intelligence is what will help children navigate through whatever tomorrow brings. We work in economically and educationally backward regions of Udaipur where we provide visual and performing art opportunities to students attending government schools, and use this platform to raise awareness about important life skill education amongst teachers, students, and their parents. If you are an artist, who believes that art can truly save the world, please apply for our Internship program here: https://goo.gl/wsaEsP
