The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with due solemnity and grandeur at Bhergaon Sub-Division, organised by the Bhergaon Civil Administration.
The programme was graced by Shri Lwmsrao Daimary, EM, BTC, as the Chief Guest, who addressed the gathering at Mahakumadhipotir Bakori.
The event was also attended by Shri Maheswar Baro, MLA, Bhergaon; Shri Paul Toppo, MCLA, BTC; Shri Daobaisa Boro, MCLA, BTC; Shri Ratan Chandra Rabha, MCLA; Shri Ringkang Mashahary, ACS, ADC & SDO(C), Bhergaon Sub-Division; Shri V. Soilemthang, IPS, SDPO, Bhergaon Sub-Division; and Shri Bikram Daimary, Chairman, TCLCC, Bhergaon, and former EM and former MCLA, BTC, along with other distinguished dignitaries.
Heads of various government departments and offices, teachers and students from different schools, and members of the public participated enthusiastically in the celebration. The active and wholehearted participation of everyone contributed immensely to the successful and memorable observance of the 80th Independence Day at Bhergaon.
The celebration reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity and pride in our nation.
