Road Safety Advisory

A vehicle lost control near the Mehatpur–Nangal NH Toll Barrier and struck the barricades, causing minor injuries to a toll operator and a Police Constable on duty.

Both individuals are safe and received necessary medical attention. A challan has been issued for rash and negligent driving.

District Police Una appeals to all road users to drive responsibly, follow traffic rules, and help keep our roads safe.

आज दिनांक 28-05-2026 को पंचायती राज संस्थाओं के सामान्य निर्वाचन-2026 के द्वितीय चरण के मतदान प्रातः 7:00 बजे से शांतिपूर्ण एवं व्यवस्थित रूप से प्रारम्भ हो चुके हैं। जिला पुलिस ऊना द्वारा सभी मतदान केन्द्रों पर सुरक्षा के पुख्ता प्रबंध किए गए हैं तथा कानून एवं व्यवस्था बनाए रखने हेतु पर्याप्त पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया है।
सभी मतदाताओं से अपील की जाती है कि वे निर्भीक होकर अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करें तथा चुनाव प्रक्रिया को शांतिपूर्ण एवं निष्पक्ष बनाए रखने में प्रशासन का सहयोग करें।

जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक ऊना श्री सचिन हीरेमठ भा0पु0से0 व पुलिस अधिकारियों द्वारा विभिन्न मतदान केंद्रों का निरीक्षण कर सुरक्षा एवं कानून व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया गया। संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों में विशेष निगरानी, नाकाबंदी एवं गश्त बढ़ाई गई है ताकि चुनाव शांतिपूर्ण, निष्पक्ष एवं भयमुक्त वातावरण में सम्पन्न हो सकें।

ऊना पुलिस की नशे पर सख़्त कार्रवाई

ऊना पुलिस द्वारा सदर थाना क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर पीर निगाह में एक कंफेक्शनरी दुकान की तलाशी के दौरान बंगाणा निवासी 01 व्यक्ति के कब्जे से 926 ग्राम भुक्की बरामद की गई।

पुलिस द्वारा आरोपी को गिरफ़्तार कर ND&PS Act के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है।

आगामी तफ्तीश जारी है।
