Objectives:
(i) To promote social, civic, cultural, educational and welfare activities in the community. (ii) To initiate programmes to bring about improvement in the quality of life of the employees, families of ONGC and the community at large. (iii) To dedicate all efforts for the upliftment of women of the weaker sections, disabled, poor and needy widows and under privileged ST, SC & Under grad
uate housewives. (iv) To inculcate values of good citizenship particularly in youth. (v) To encourage humanitarian deeds through voluntary person
services and to promote public works. (vi) To unite the members of the Samiti in the bonds of friendship, mutual understanding and fellowship by nurturing cultural ties. (vii) To do any other act or thing which is ancillary to the achievement of any of the above stated objects. Mission:
To generate a spirit of understanding and compassion amongst all people for less privileged sections of the society and to provide voluntary selfless services for humanitarian needs. Motto:

The emblem of the ONGC Officers Mahila Samiti has leaf and the Sun. The veins of the leaf stand for strength and unity. The cones surrounding the leaf symbolise the sun, which is the source of life, light and energy.
The colour of the emblem is yellow and green. Yellow depicts sunlight, magnanimity, intellect, supreme wisdom and highest values. Green stands for vegetation, sympathy, adaptability, prosperity, hope, life and immortality.
