🇮🇳 Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom – 80th Independence Day at Baselios Public School 🇮🇳

With hearts filled with pride and patriotism, Baselios Public School celebrated the 80th Independence Day of our nation with great enthusiasm and fervour.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by a proud and disciplined march-past, reminding us of the courage, unity and dedication that have shaped our nation.

Our tiny tots added colour and joy to the celebration with a vibrant cultural presentation, showcasing their talent and love for our motherland. The spirit of creativity continued through beautiful handcrafted articles and engaging classroom activities, where our young learners expressed their understanding of India’s rich heritage and values.

At Baselios, we believe that patriotism is nurtured through everyday learning—by teaching our children dedication towards the nation, respect for its values, responsibility towards society and pride in being Indians. 🇮🇳

The Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 at Baselios Public School began on a truly majestic note as the school campus resonated with the rhythmic beats of our magnificent school band. Displaying impeccable discipline, precision, and pride, the band led a spectacular ceremonial parade, escorting our esteemed Chief Guest and Guests of Honour with great dignity.

The newly elected Student Council members marched with confidence and grace, warmly welcoming the distinguished dignitaries and setting the tone for an inspiring celebration of leadership. Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 | Baselios Public School

Leadership is not about wearing a badge—it is about embracing responsibility, inspiring others, and leading by example.

Baselios Public School proudly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony 2026–27, a memorable occasion that marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Mr. K. V. Ratnam, CGM (Technical), IOCL, along with the Guests of Honour, Mr. Shaji Mathai, Honourable Secretary of the Society of St. Basil, and Mr. Varghese Thomas, Honourable Treasurer of the Society of St. Basil.

The event commenced with a vibrant cultural extravaganza, followed by an impressive parade by the school band to welcome the distinguished guests. Enthralling dance and musical performances added grace and grandeur to the celebration, setting the perfect tone for the occasion.

The highlight of the ceremony was the investiture of the newly elected Student Council members, who proudly received their badges and solemnly pledged to uphold the values of the school and carry out their responsibilities with dedication and integrity.

Our little stars of Nursery, Jr. KG, and Sr. KG enthusiastically participated in the “Pick and Tell” Activity, where each child confidently picked an object and spoke a few simple lines about it.

From identifying colours and shapes to sharing interesting facts, the activity encouraged children to express themselves, build vocabulary, and develop their speaking and communication skills in a fun and engaging way.

Every tiny presentation reflected growing confidence, curiosity, and joyful learning. We are proud of our young learners for speaking with such enthusiasm and confidence! 🌟💛

The highlight of the day was the “Pick a Yellow Object and Tell About It” activity, where our confident little speakers introduced their favourite yellow objects with adorable expressions and growing confidence.
