The 11Kv 300 sq.mm. cable was damaged by the labourers on 21st February 2016 at 8.30 pm. The area of Consua, Cansaulim was kept in dark due to the damaged caused to this underground cable. The alternate arrangement of power supply was carried out by charging overhead 11Kv feeder from 33/11Kv Majorda Sub Station.
The cable jointer was called on the spot and the work was carried out till 2.00 am early morning on 22nd February 2016. The excavation work was of laying of internet cable of M/s Reliance who has agreed to pay the damage charges.

On 18th February 2016 at about 17:15 hours the P.W.D. while excavating damaged the 11kv underground cable at Calata, Majorda. Total 7 nos. of transformers were affected in Majorda Village Panchayat area. The supply was restored through the ring system. The cable jointer and termination kit were arranged from supplier Shri. Jaydutt Yadav on the request of the department who has all the way transported the termination kit to the site. Also Shri. Yogesh Thore who is expert in cable joints came to the site at 21:30 hours and attended the cable fault work throughout the night with the help of department staff. The work has been completed at 1:30 hours early morning.

Sub:- Power shut down notice

The Sub Divisional Engineer, S/D-III Verna has arranged urgent/emergency Power Shutdown for PWD road widening work on 2/02/2016 at 11KV Arossim Feeder. Feeding from 33/11KV Majorda substation between 9:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs. There will be no Power Supply at these places.i.e. all areas coming under the jurisdiction of V.P. Cansaulim-Arrosim-Cuelim, Cansaulim Market, Tontem, Madalem, Arossim, Falvaddo, Konkan Railway-HT installation. "All the LT/HT consumers fed from these feeders are requested to note the same. Inconvenience caused is highly regretted."
