S.A.S.O is the acronym for “Social Awareness and Service Organization”. SASO is a collective representation of like – minded people; to aware the society perceives its evils and acts by itself for its sustainable growth.
“S.A.S.O is an independent, non-political, non-profited, likeminded youth run organization aiming to brining Social awareness and empowerment of masses, especially in youth, throu
gh participation and awareness programs”. We do not commit the crimes; we just shine a light on them. We are not the cause of the victims, but rather, the victims are our cause. We will always be a voice for them. And, we will always pray for the day that no one in this Country murdered by the Injustice, Corruption etc., that, not one woman's life was stolen in the name of 'Honor'. That, not one Girl's body was used and abused and then tossed aside. Yes, on that day... Nothing will make us happier than to awake and learn that our voice is no longer needed and on that day, we will proudly shutdown this Organization, due to irrelevance. But, until that day arrives, we will speak the truth and we will shout it from the mountain tops. Because, the greatest injustice of all is silence in the face of evil. Evil only exists in this world because we allow it to exist. Let's work together to change that. One heart and one mind at a time. SASO’s Objectives:
• To bring the awareness among the citizens, especially in the illiterate masses to realize their responsibilities as a citizen towards the society. Responsibilities:-
Utilization of Right to VOTE. Discouraging Corruption. Utilization of R.T.I
• To Bring awareness about the Importance of Civic Sense in Society,
i.e. Civic Senses:-
- Traffic Regulations
- Hygienic Conditions in Public Places etc.
• Motivating the Girls & Young Women to Build-up their Confidence to face any Situations in the form of Seminars & Public Speeches by eminent people like Psychologists etc.
• Propagating the Importance of Environmental protection like
- Discouraging the usage of Plastic.
- Growing Greenery etc.
• Encouraging the children especially who are in adolescent stage to plan their futher on the importance of ethical values of life by career guidance programs.
• Periodical Health check-up camps in Slum area schools
• Medical Check-ups for the Inmates in the old age homes and sharing affection to them.
• Part Time Teaching in Schools lacking with the Teaching Staff. SASO Mission:
Bringing the Change from grass root level in every Individual to bring change in our Society. The more brains, the better ideas and hence, we create a healthy, motivational working environment to solve the issues which are faced by society.
