4.12 lakh jobs to daily wage workers for a season, by making sure the govt machinery works.
Despite the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, many daily wagers were migrating away from Vizianagaram because of lack of work. Lok Satta took this to the attention of the district collector. The collector acted immediately and passed orders to provide work for the season, to an expected 4.12 lakh people. This shows that action does work and sometimes results in immediate results!
