π¦ Beat the Bite: Anti-Malaria Awareness Drive! π
As part of Anti-Malaria Month, PM SHRI PK Government High School, Gueriyampeta, successfully hosted a vibrant community awareness program focused on "Malaria Prevention and Keeping Surroundings Clean." πΏβ¨
π Program Highlights:
Enthusiastic Participation: Nearly 120 students actively took part in the Quiz and Essay Writing competitions!
Expert Insights: Medical Officer Dr. P. Amuthavarshini enlightened the gathering on malaria signs, symptoms, preventive measures, vector-borne diseases, and effective mosquito control through proper home and neighborhood sanitation.
Community Engagement: Valuable awareness pamphlets were distributed to students, school staff, and community members.
Honoring Excellence: Prizes were proudly distributed to competition winners by the School Head Master and Medical Officer.
