مؤتمر عشائري موسع في كركوك يؤكد دور العشائر في مكافحة التطرف العنيف وترسيخ السلم المجتمعي
على هامش أعمال الاجتماع التنسيقي السابع عشر لرؤساء اللجان الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب في المحافظات، شاركت اللجنة الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب في المؤتمر العشائري الموسع الذي احتضنه قسم شؤون عشائر محافظة كركوك، بحضور قائد شرطة كركوك اللواء الحقوقي فتاح محمود ياسين الخفاجي، ومدير شؤون عشائر العراق اللواء سلمان الحسناوي، إلى جانب جمع كبير من شيوخ ووجهاء العشائر وممثلي المكونات المختلفة في المحافظة.
وشهد المؤتمر مناقشة سبل تعزيز التماسك المجتمعي وتحصين المجتمع من الأفكار المتطرفة، والتأكيد على أهمية الشراكة بين المؤسسات الأمنية والعشائر في دعم الاستقرار وترسيخ ثقافة التعايش السلمي، كما عكس الحضور المتنوع من مختلف مكونات كركوك حالة الانسجام والتلاحم الوطني التي تتميز بها المحافظة، ودور العشائر الفاعل في معالجة التحديات المجتمعية وتعزيز السلم الأهلي.
وبيّن رئيس اللجنة الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب السيد علي عبد الله البديري للحضور أن الاستراتيجية الوطنية تعتمد على الشراكة الحقيقية مع القيادات المجتمعية والعشائرية والدينية باعتبارها خط الدفاع الأول في مواجهة الفكر المتطرف، مؤكداً أن العشائر العراقية تمتلك رصيداً وطنياً واجتماعياً مهماً في نشر قيم الاعتدال والتسامح وحماية الشباب من مخاطر التطرف. كما استعرض أبرز جهود اللجنة الوطنية وبرامجها الهادفة إلى الوقاية من التطرف العنيف وتعزيز المناعة المجتمعية، مشيداً بالوعي والمسؤولية الوطنية التي تتمتع بها عشائر كركوك وحرصها على دعم الدولة وسيادة القانون والحفاظ على أمن واستقرار المحافظة.

Expanded Tribal Conference in Kirkuk Affirms the Role of Tribes in Countering Violent Extremism and Consolidating Community Peace
On the sidelines of the Seventeenth Coordination Meeting of Heads of Provincial Subcommittees for Preventing Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, the National Committee for Preventing Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism participated in the expanded tribal conference hosted by the Tribal Affairs Department of Kirkuk Province. The event was attended by the Commander of Kirkuk Police, Major General (Legal) Fattah Mahmoud Yassin Al-Khafaji, the Director of Tribal Affairs of Iraq, Major General Salman Al-Hassanawi, as well as a large gathering of tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, and representatives of the various communities in the province.
The conference discussed ways to strengthen social cohesion and protect society from extremist ideologies, emphasizing the importance of partnership between security institutions and tribes in supporting stability and promoting a culture of peaceful coexistence. The diverse participation from Kirkuk’s various communities reflected the harmony and national unity that characterize the province, as well as the active role of tribes in addressing societal challenges and enhancing social peace.
During the conference, the Chairman of the National Committee for Preventing Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Badiri, stated that the National Strategy is based on genuine partnership with community, tribal, and religious leaders, considering them the first line of defense against extremist ideology. He stressed that Iraqi tribes possess significant national and social capital in promoting the values of moderation and tolerance and in protecting young people from the dangers of extremism. He also reviewed the National Committee’s key efforts and programs aimed at preventing violent extremism and strengthening community resilience, praising the awareness and sense of national responsibility demonstrated by the tribes of Kirkuk and their commitment to supporting the state, upholding the rule of law, and preserving the security and stability of the province.
