بغداد تستضيف أعمال الدورة الثالثة للجنة العراقية-الليبية المشتركة لتعزيز التعاون بين البلدين

اختُتمت في العاصمة بغداد، يوم الاثنين الموافق 24 آب 2026، أعمال الدورة الثالثة للجنة العراقية-الليبية المشتركة، برئاسة وزير الخارجية ووزير الإعمار والإسكان والبلديات العامة وكالة، السيد فؤاد حسين، عن الجانب العراقي، ووزير الخارجية المكلف، السيد الطاهر الباعور، عن الجانب الليبي.
وأسفرت أعمال اللجنة عن توقيع عدد من مذكرات التفاهم بين الجانبين، شملت حسم ملف عقارات العراق في العاصمة طرابلس، وتعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي وتوسيع آفاقه، فضلاً عن التعاون في مجالي الشباب والرياضة.
وأكد السيد فؤاد حسين عمق العلاقات الأخوية والقواسم المشتركة التي تجمع البلدين، مجدداً التزام العراق بوحدة ليبيا وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، ورفض التدخلات الخارجية في شؤونها الداخلية، والدعوة إلى تجنّب التصعيد واعتماد الحوار سبيلاً لمعالجة القضايا العالقة.
من جانبه، أشاد وزير الخارجية الليبي المكلف بعمق العلاقات التاريخية والأخوية التي تربط البلدين، مؤكداً أهمية أن تسهم أعمال اللجنة المشتركة في تفعيل أطر التعاون وتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات، بما يحقق نتائج إيجابية وملموسة.
Baghdad Hosts the Third Session of the Iraqi–Libyan Joint Committee to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation
The third session of the Iraqi–Libyan Joint Committee concluded in Baghdad on Monday, 24 August 2026, co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Acting Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, on the Iraqi side, and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Libya, H.E. Mr. Taher Al-Baour, on the Libyan side.
The Committee’s proceedings resulted in the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding between the two sides, covering the resolution of the issue of Iraqi-owned properties in the capital, Tripoli, strengthening and expanding economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the fields of youth and sports.
H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein affirmed the depth of the brotherly relations and common bonds between the two countries, reaffirming Iraq’s commitment to Libya’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, its rejection of foreign interference in its internal affairs, and the need to avoid escalation and adopt dialogue as a means of addressing outstanding issues.
For his part, Acting Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Taher Al-Baour commended the deep historical and brotherly relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of the Joint Committee’s work in activating frameworks for cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations across various fields in a manner that achieves positive and tangible outcomes.
