Initial technical survey in Anbar Governorate

The technical team specialized in the field of research and investigation of mass graves of the Martyrs Foundation / Department of Mass Graves Affairs and Protection is conducting a number of surveies in Anbar Governorate - Ramadi District

In implementation of the tasks assigned to the department and in accordance with the provisions of the Mass Graves Law No. 13 of 2015.
A preliminary technical surveies was conducted on three sites, two of which are in Saqlawiyah District, the site of the Al-Jamia neighborhood, a site in Al-Shiha, and the last site in Habbaniyah.

It is worth noting that all the surveies and documentation work was carried out with the accompaniment and protection of the security forces holding the land.
Based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Foundation, the sites subject to the jurisdiction of the Mass Graves Affairs and Protection Law will be entered into the department's database for the purpose of including them in the annual plans for opening, excavation, and identifying the victims.
