Hveragerði

Hveragerði Hveragerði is a town and municipality in the south of Iceland, 45 km east of Reykjavík on Iceland's main ringroad, Route 1. desember sl.

The river Varmá runs through the town. Þorpsmyndun hófst í Hveragerði árið 1929, Hveragerðishreppur var stofnaður 1946 og varð bæjarfélag 1987. Þann 1. voru íbúar Hveragerðis 2317.
