It's a beautiful evening..the hot tubs are warm ..the sea is waiting for you....come and enjoy the atmosphere here. We have a freshly made chocolate mousse cake...gluten free with lots of rich chocolate..plus a dollop of cream...what could be better?
Maybe a glass of red wine to go with it? Yes that's perfection.
If you see the open sign...guess what we are open!

If you see the washing out drying...the chances are you have found us!
The hot tubs are right by the washing line...just follow the signs to the reception and Kaffi Aðalsteinn.
We are a 30 minute detour if your driving the diamond circle.

Rauðanes is one of the most beautiful places you can visit within a 40 minute drive of us.

It's also the playground of thousands of puffins and other birds.

The whole walk takes 3 hrs from the parking spot but you can also just walk for 20 minutes to appreciate the beauty of this place and see some puffins....you may be lucky and spot some whales out in Þistilfjörður...a tip...it's so quiet here that you will hear the whales come to the surface and exhales ...you will hear the blow long before you spot them.
