Family Fun with the Scouts!

Join the Red Cross and the Icleandic Scouts for a family day filled with fun!
In Iceland one of the most preeminent movements for youth are the Scouts.
Scouting promotes the growth and development of young people, both as individuals and as members of society, with projects and initiative as guiding principles. In the Scouting movement, young people have the opportunity to gain independence, take initiative, be solution-oriented, and become good leaders who are always ready to offer assistance and contribute to positive changes in society.
Scouting activities take place largely outdoors. Emphasis is placed on an adventurous and challenging program where scouts have the opportunity to try tasks appropriate to each childs age and development.
Participation in the scouting movement is open to people of all faiths of all backgrounds. Participating in the Scouts is a great way to get involved in Icelandic Society.
The Icelandic Red Cross is collaborating with the Scouts to promote their activities to families who are new in Iceland. We welcome you to participate in a Free Family Fun Day with the Scouts.
The event will be held on Sunday September 7th from 10-14, in Háahlíð 9, 105 Reykjavík. The program will consist of games, singing, outdoor activities depending on weather, socializing and getting to know each other and free lunch for the whole family.

Червоний Хрест Ісландії та Спілка скаутів Ісландії запрошують вас долучитись до
сімейного дня, повного веселощів!
Скаутський рух є одним із найбільш популярних занять для молоді в Ісландії.
Ця спільнота має на меті розвиток молоді як індивідуальності та як відповідальних
членів суспільства. У цьому русі молодь заохочується та навчається незалежності,
ініціативності, вирішенню проблем, та лідерським навичкам. Скаути це лідери, що
готові запропонувати свою підтримку та змінити суспільство на краще.
Зазвичай, заходи для скаутів відбуваються на свіжому повітрі. Основна увага
приділяється пригодницькому духу заходів, перед молоддю ставляться завдання,
що відповідають їх віку та рівню розвитку.
Участь у скаутському русі є відкритою для усіх, незалежно від їх походження чи
віросповідання. А ще, - це чудовий спосіб інтегруватися в ісландське суспільство.
Ісландський Червоний Хрест є партнерською організацією та співпрацює зі
скаутами для того, щоб популяризувати їх заходи серед новоприбулих сімей в
Ісландії.
Ми запрошуємо вас взяти участь у Дні сімейного дозвілля.
Подія відбудеться у Неділя, 7 вересня, з 10:00 до 14:00 год. за адресою: Háahlíð 9,
105 Рейкявік. Програма заходу включатиме: ігри, співи, розваги назовні (залежно
від погоди), знайомство та пізнання один одного.

¡Únete a la Cruz Roja y a los Scouts de Islandia en un día familiar lleno de diversión!
En Islandia uno de los movimientos más preeminentes para la juventud son los Scouts.
El Movimiento Scout promueve el crecimiento y el desarrollo de los jóvenes, como personas y como miembros de la sociedad, con los proyectos y la iniciativa como valores fundamentales. En el movimiento Scout, los jóvenes tienen la oportunidad de adquirir independencia, tomar la iniciativa, orientarse hacia la búsqueda de soluciones y convertirse en buenos líderes siempre dispuestos a ofrecer ayuda y contribuir a cambios positivos en la sociedad
Las actividades scouts se desarrollan en gran medida al aire libre. Se enfatiza en un programa aventurero y desafiante donde los scouts tienen la oportunidad de probar tareas apropiadas para la edad y el desarrollo de cada participante.
La participación en el movimiento scout está abierta a personas de todas las creencias y procedencias. Participar en los scouts es una excelente manera de involucrarse en la sociedad islandesa.
La Cruz Roja Islandesa colabora con los Scouts para promover sus actividades entre las familias recién llegadas a Islandia. Te invitamos a participar en un Día de Diversión Familiar gratuito con los Scouts.
El acto tendrá lugar el domingo 7 de septiembre de 10 a 14, en Háahlíð 9, 105 Reikiavik. El programa consistirá en juegos, canciones, actividades al aire libre dependiendo del tiempo, socialización y conocimiento mutuo y almuerzo gratuito para toda la familia.
