🔥 Nonostante il caldo torrido di giovedì sera, la Biblioteca di Bagni di Lucca si è riempita di cittadini pronti a discutere con passione del nostro futuro.

🗣️ I veri protagonisti sono stati i partecipanti. Divisi in gruppi, hanno risposto a due domande chiave:
1️⃣ "Pensa in grande: quale opera o servizio metteresti in campo nei prossimi 10 anni per fare di Bagni di Lucca un posto dove si sceglie di restare, fermarsi e tornare?"
2️⃣ "Quali proposte concrete possiamo presentare nell'immediato per i finanziamenti del bando GAL?"
I cittadini hanno messo sul tavolo tantissime idee e, al termine del confronto, tutti hanno potuto votare le preferite.

Questi voti offrono una base importante da valutare per il bando GAL.
Tra i progetti più votati spiccano:
L'App di Comunità: un'unica applicazione per servizi, mobilità ed eventi, pensata soprattutto per i residenti.
Il Rilancio della Stazione FS: trasporti meglio sincronizzati e un punto informativo per toglierla dall'isolamento.
La Rete dei Sentieri Generazionali: recupero di camminamenti storici per unire le frazioni e promuovere il turismo lento.

Chi ha partecipato lo ha fatto con un obiettivo chiaro: "Non voglio andarmene da Bagni di Lucca, voglio contribuire a renderla un luogo da cui nessuno debba andarsene".

I prossimi passi:
Raccogliamo tutte le proposte. Il Comune le esaminerà per scegliere quali candidare ai fondi GAL entro il 18 settembre e valuterà altri canali di finanziamento.

🔥 Despite Thursday night’s scorching heat, the Bagni di Lucca Library was packed with citizens ready to passionately debate our future.

🗣️ The real protagonists of the evening were the participants. Divided into working groups, they tackled two key questions:
1️⃣ "Think big: what major project or service would you launch over the next 10 years to make Bagni di Lucca a place where people choose to stay, settle down, and return?"
2️⃣ "What concrete proposals can we present right now for funding from the GAL grant?"
Citizens brought a wide range of ideas to the table, and at the end of the discussions, everyone had the chance to vote for their favorites.

These votes provide a crucial baseline that will now be carefully assessed for the GAL grant criteria.
Among the most voted projects were:
The Community App: a single digital application for services, mobility, and events, designed first and foremost to make daily life easier for residents.
The Railway Station Relaunch: synchronized public transport links and a strategic info point to break the station out of its historical isolation.
The Generational Trail Network: restoring historic paths and walking routes to connect our hamlets and promote slow tourism.

Those who took part did so with a clear, shared vision: "I don't want to leave Bagni di Lucca; I want to help make it a place that no one ever feels they have to leave."

Next steps:
We are currently gathering all the proposals. The Municipality will carefully review them to select which ones to submit for the GAL funds by September 18th, while simultaneously exploring other funding opportunities.

Il percorso del progetto V.I.V.A. va avanti. Questa volta ci aspetta un passo importante per concretizzare le prime azioni per il nostro domani, insieme.

L'appuntamento è per giovedì 30 luglio alle ore 17:45 alla Chiesa Inglese (Biblioteca) a Bagni di Lucca per un dibattito attivo. Sarà un momento di vero confronto per trasformare le idee in proposte.

La base della discussione saranno i risultati del questionario: le risposte di oltre 1.000 persone ci offrono una base solida e reale da cui partire. Per chi lo desidera, sarà inoltre disponibile un tavolo di discussione dedicato in lingua inglese.

I posti in sala sono limitati per permettere a tutti di dialogare al meglio.

The journey of the V.I.V.A. project continues. This time, an important step awaits us to concretely implement the first actions for our future, together.
Join us on Thursday, July 30th at 5:45 PM at the Chiesa Inglese (Library) of Bagni di Lucca for an active debate. It will be a key moment to turn ideas into shared proposals.

The discussion will be based on the survey results: feedback from over 1,000 people provides us with a solid foundation to start from. To ensure everyone can participate, a dedicated English-speaking discussion table will be available.

Wednessday evening, we held the public meeting to share the results of our community questionnaire. It was a night full of ideas for Bagni di Lucca's tomorrow. Here you will find the report of the evening.

Here are the key takeaways:
- Record-breaking turnout: A huge thank you goes to our community ambassadors. Their hard work led to an incredibly high participation rate. The research institute Simurg Ricerche confirmed this is an absolute record compared to all their extensive experience with other municipalities!
- The event: Following the opening remarks by Priscilla Valentino —who gave a special thanks to the audience for attending despite the summer heat—Claudio Salvucci from Simurg provided a detailed breakdown of the data. You can find the full report.
- Active citizenship: Our ambassador Nicole explained the concept of participatory processes (percorsi partecipativi) and what the direct involvement of citizens can bring to the table.
