Did you know that every +1°C rise in temperature increases the risk of asthma?

Every +1°C increase leads to:
🌾 Drier conditions = more airborne particles (PM10, PM2.5) that worsen air quality
💨 Worsening respiratory issues = increased asthma attacks and hospital admissions
🌍 Increased temperature = longer dry periods, which trigger more asthma symptoms

New perspectives, shared expertise, and innovative solutions for neurodegenerative care! 🧠✨
On May 20, 2026, in Campobasso, Sviluppo Italia Molise SpA hosted the DARING Cross Border Conference alongside the Polytechnic University of Bari and our project partners.
We are bringing together international experts to bridge the gap between patients' daily realities and digital health solutions. To do this, we looked at the data from 2,686 global healthcare SMEs:

🌍 The global gap: The USA dominates the market (66.5% of companies), while the South Adriatic region is currently absent from global rankings.
🇮🇹 The Italian ecosystem: Italy ranks 10th globally (28 companies), but innovation is heavily concentrated in the North.
🌱 Emerging potential: Montenegro (8 registered innovators) and Albania are building promising, nascent digital health ecosystems.
🚀 The power of SMEs: Enterprises with 1-50 employees are the true engines driving biotech and neuroscience innovation!

Our South Adriatic region has the talent, the research, and the potential. Now, we need visibility and cross-border cooperation to build a connected, patient-centred future. 🤝💙
