Mi chiamo Thomas e vivo in Val di Fiemme, una bellissima valle delle Dolomiti, patrimonio dell’Unesco. Tutto nasce a metà 2014, al ritorno da un’indimenticabile e profonda esperienza che ho vissuto viaggiando con lo zaino in spalla in Myanmar (ex Birmania). Due mesi intensi di ricerca, totalmente immerso nella tradizione locale e nella filosofia Buddhista, che hanno modellato la mia visione del viaggio. Un viaggio che poteva sembrare povero per lo sviluppo materiale del paese, ma che in realtà era ricco perché autentico in tutti gli dettagli. Al ritorno ho iniziato a lavorare come guest relation assistant in Val di Fiemme, dove ho potuto iniziare a conoscere il territorio e le persone che lo visitano. Durante questo periodo è nata una nuova idea che si è sviluppata con il tempo, Elite Dolomites: selezionare e raggruppare delle piccole strutture ricettive di alta qualità situate nelle Dolomiti che si distinguano per qualità, cura del dettaglio e servizi. La selezione ha seguito pochi parametri rappresentati dalla piccola dimensione, l’alta qualità e cura, l’energia positiva percepita, l’impatto con le persone proprietarie e la visione comune di voler offrire esperienze uniche nel loro genere. My name is Thomas and I live in Val di Fiemme, a beautiful valley of the Dolomites, Unesco world heritage. Everything begins in mid 2014, at that time I was just came back from an unforgettable and profound experience which I lived traveling with a back pack all over Myanmar. Two very intense month of research totally immersed in the local tradition and into Buddhist philosophy that have shaped my view of traveling. Apparently this travel could have been seen as poor regarding to the economical development of the country I visited but which in reality was rich because authentic in every detail. Later on I started working as guest relation assistant in Val di Fiemme where I could begin to know the land and the people that visit it and during that period a new Idea is born, Elite Dolomites: selecting and collecting small, high quality accommodations located in the Dolomite’s territory which distinguish themselves for quality, care for details and services. The selection has been guided from few but very important parameters represented by small dimension, high quality and care, positive energy, good feeling with the owner and the common vision that wish to offer unique experiences.
